This is an incredible place that you just cannot miss. If you're anywhere nearby for breakfast or lunch or dinner, you got to stop in. It's almost brand new. It is in the same location that used to be call Dan's sandwiches, but the name doesn't matter. Eat here. Eat here. Eat here. The services extremely friendly. The food is very good. And the prices are ridiculously reasonable. Three eggs, three sausage, two full sheets of Texas toast, jelly, a donut, milk, and biscuits and gravy all for under $20.

Maid rite in Newton,IA is definitely a place to get the best of two worlds. Loose meat sandwiches that you remember as a kid still made the same way to breakfast and dinners served in a diner fashion. The folks that work here are always friendly and the service is great. It's the community spot you look forward to because of the atmosphere. Seeing old friends and making new ones is what makes this place too. Can't forget the folks working here do the best possible to make your experience better. From going in to sit down and eat to order to go and catering. Happy does a great job with the crew. Stop in check it out and enjoy a place that can show you what small town dining really is.

Do you serve breakfast?

Yes — we now offer a breakfast menu in partnership with Mid-Rite Cafe, including items such as biscuits & gravy, country-fried steak, omelets/skillets, pancakes, etc.

Breakfast hours: 6:00 AM to noon on weekdays; 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM on weekends (with Tuesday off for breakfast).
